Tess’s talent is rooted in the chile-scented air of Espanola, NM. A seasoned vocalist, Tess studied vocal performance at the University of New Mexico and music theater at Eastern New Mexico University. Tess is a multi-instrumentalist and performs with piano, bass guitar or mandolin. A powerhouse vocalist, Tess fronts the rock group Sister Mary Mayhem and previously fronted All Eyes. She has opened for such national groups like the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Missing Persons, Warrant, LA Guns and Quiet Riot and performed the after parties for Ann Wilson of Heart, Joan Jett, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Paul Rogers of Bad Company and Vince Neil of Mötley Crüe. Tess’s single Beautiful Dreamer, won Best Music Video at the 2022 High Desert Screening in Albuquerque, NM. During the day, Tess is an Associate Scientist at UNM and studies retina proteins. Tess believes music and science share similar qualities of passion, discipline and patterns.
